How to write an article for Perl Magazine.

Write your article. It can’t exceed three pages, no more than 1000 words.
Send it in ASCII or ODT. The images have to be in PNG format.

If you consider that the article has to exceed this terms, please let’s discuss it by email. Perl Magazine will try to be as flexible as it can be. Remember Perl motto: TIMTOWTDI “There is more than one way to do it”

Please note that when you submit your article to Perl Magazine you are giving to Perl Magazine the permission to publish your article automatically, under the conditions set in this section. Sending an email with your article is to accept these conditions. The benefits you get from your publication in this magazine are non-economic royalties, that is fame, popularity and the opportunity to get known through a specialized platform on the net.

Remember that you are the copyright owner of your article. Accepting the rules set in this section means: accepting the rules of Perl Magazine without loosing any rights from your side. You can protect your work using public licenses, like a Creative Commons one, but remember that participating in this magazine also means accepting this one to one “contract” (You and Perl Magazine)

Perl Magazine will be distributed at no cost online.
The hard copy will be available through lulu.com. At lulu.com the magazine can be downloaded or it can be bought as a hard copy.
Any money from the hard copy will be for Perl Magazine to maintenance (and the time I’m spending here improving it).

It sounds good but, who is really earning any profits in all this process?

- You, the writer, earn in popularity and have the possibility to publish your articles in a real magazine. You always maintain the rights over your creation. You can publish your article here, and in other magazines. Yours is the choice.

- Companies that write articles have the possibility to put their publicity for free as well.

- Companies that just want to put their publicity have to pay, so interested ones please contact editor@perlmagazine.com
